OM System PEN Launches with IBIS, Weather-Sealing, 20MP for Under $1100
OM System's new PEN ships with a 20MP Four Thirds sensor, in-body stabilisation, and weather-sealing at $999 body-only or $1099 with the new 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 III kit lens. OM System PEN Review: Weather-Sealed MFT at $999
The new OM System PEN lands at $999 body-only (or $1099 with the 14-42mm kit lens) and claims the title of cheapest weather-sealed ILC on the market. It runs a 20MP Four Thirds sensor with IBIS, a 2.36m-dot built-in EVF, vari-angle touchscreen, and Pro Capture at full resolution up to 30fps. Video tops out at 4K/30p. OM SYSTEM PEN Pre-Orders Delayed: Some Won't Ship Until November+
OM Digital Solutions Japan has put out a formal statement flagging shipping delays for the OM SYSTEM PEN and accessories, originally due late October 2026. Pre-order volume has exceeded stock, and some customers are now being told to expect delivery November at the earliest.
