Zeiss Otus DSLR Lenses Officially Discontinued
Zeiss has officially discontinued the Otus DSLR lens range, the Canon EF and Nikon F mount manual-focus primes that held near-reference status for optical quality since launching in 2013. The Otus ML series for mirrorless mounts is now the active line.

Zeiss Confirms It Developed Otus ML Lenses In-House
Zeiss has gone on record with PetaPixel to deny rumours that Cosina developed the new Otus ML prime lenses, stating the series was developed in-house. The Otus ML lenses are designed for full-frame mirrorless cameras.

KEH Camera Becomes Zeiss's Official Repair Partner for US and Canada
KEH Camera is now the sole Zeiss-authorized repair and service center for photography lenses across the US and Canada, starting September 1. The scope is broad: everything from current Batis and Otus ML lenses back to postwar Zeiss Jena, 1960s Contarex, Rollei, and Contax/Yashica glass is covered — gear Zeiss had previously declared beyond its own repair remit.
