    Nikon Weekly: SanDisk 8TB SDUC, RED Patent Ruling, Viltrox 26mm Date

    SanDisk's 8TB SDUC memory cards are confirmed, though they need new card readers to work. Japan's IP High Court upheld the invalidation of a RED video camera patent after Panasonic's challenge — Nikon, as RED's owner, had appealed and lost. The Viltrox 26mm f/2.8 EVO pancake for Nikon Z-mount gets its official announcement on July 15, and the SG-Image 35mm f/2.2 AF Z-mount lens is already in stock on Amazon in black, silver, and CE versions.

    Tilta Universal Cooling System: Thermoelectric, Three Modes, $35

    Tilta has announced a Universal Cooling System, a thermoelectric cooler that mounts to the back of a wide range of mirrorless bodies. It combines a semiconductor cooling plate with aluminium fins and a near-silent fan, with the contact surface dropping to 0°C on the top setting. Three modes are on offer, a TFT colour display shows temperature, and it runs off USB-C or a magnetic battery. Base unit is $35.
