Bad light on a paid shoot has always had one fix: reshoot it or spend hours compositing. Vividon is betting that's no longer true. Their Photoshop plugin, now in early access, claims to relight photos after the fact, directly inside Photoshop. The practical use case is obvious: a corporate portrait where the window light went flat, an event where the venue killed your ambient, a product shot where the shadows went wrong. Whether it actually holds up on real-world files with complex lighting is the only question that matters, and early access means you can find out now rather than waiting for a review cycle. Studio and portrait photographers should be first in line to test this.

Every portrait and commercial shooter has a folder of frames where the light was almost right. Vividon is early access software, so treat it accordingly, but the concept is sound: a Photoshop plugin that lets you apply professional lighting setups from a visual preset library, or pull the lighting character from any reference image you already own. Non-destructive, layer-based, no prompts. If the Match feature delivers on what it's promising, that's a genuine workflow tool for retouching client work to a consistent look across a campaign, or rescuing a corporate event frame where the ambient light was doing you no favours. Worth watching the early access closely.
