Getty and Shutterstock stay separate; a busy day for third-party glass
Getty Images has terminated its $3.7 billion merger with Shutterstock after the UK's Competition and Markets Authority blocked the deal, leaving the two largest stock agencies independent of each other. Lens news made up most of the rest of the day — Samyang and Schneider-Kreuznach's AF 60-180mm F2.8 FE announcement, a 7Artisans 135mm f/1.8 review, and a Viltrox 55mm f/1.8 EVO APO review all landed alongside a DJI foldable-drone confirmation and a fresh Sony RX10V/FX5 rumour.
The UK's Competition and Markets Authority blocked the deal, so both companies remain independent.
