Adobe is acquiring Topaz Labs, the company behind Gigapixel, Photo AI, and Video AI. The two have been working together since October 2025, when Topaz upscaling, denoise, and sharpening models were folded into Photoshop. Deal closes second half of 2026, regulatory approval pending. Standalone Topaz apps stay available post-acquisition, but Adobe hasn't said anything yet about pricing or how Topaz tools will sit relative to Creative Cloud subscriptions.
