Asus is pushing into serious colour-work territory with the PA27USD and PA32USD: 4K panels, 1,000 nits peak brightness for actual HDR editing, and the kind of colour accuracy spec that matters when you're prepping files for print or broadcast. The 1,000-nit figure is the one to watch. Most photographers are still editing on 400-500 nit panels and wondering why their HDR exports look wrong everywhere else.
