DJI SDR Transmission 2: DCI 4K60 10-Bit, Switchable Transceiver, 4km

DJI's SDR Transmission 2 is now official. It's a single transceiver unit — flip the physical switch and it becomes either TX or RX — replacing the dedicated transmitter/receiver split from the 2024 original. Resolution jumps from 1080p to DCI 4K60 in 10-bit HDR, transmitted as H.265 at up to 50Mbps with 35ms minimum latency and a 4km rated range. One unit can feed up to eight receivers, and DJI says up to five transmitters and 40 receivers can run on the same set. HDMI and USB-C (DisplayPort) are built in; SDI needs the optional Expansion Plate. Single-unit pricing starts at €349 / £309. CineD notes it has been working with the unit under a paid collaboration with DJI — hands-on findings are in a forthcoming video.
