Brightin Star AF 12mm f/2.8 Full-Frame Ultra-Wide Hits E-Mount

A sub-$650 autofocus 12mm full-frame ultra-wide from Brightin Star is a different proposition to another manual-focus novelty. Sony's own 12–24mm f/4 G sits around $1,700 AUD used. Tokina and Laowa compete here but without native AF. If the STM motor actually delivers on real estate walkthrough footage or astrophotography tracking, this lens fills a legitimate gap at a price that doesn't require a client invoice to justify it. E-mount ships now. Other mounts are coming. Worth watching the first real-world samples before committing, but this is the kind of third-party launch that actually moves the conversation.
