A budget-brand 12mm f/2.8 AF on full-frame is interesting on paper — autofocus at this focal length is still rare at non-premium prices — but Brightin Star has a patchy track record on real-world sharpness and focus reliability. Worth watching for astrophotographers who need AF for star-tracking rigs, but hold off until someone actually tests the corners on a Sony A7R body before spending a cent.
