CINELUX Teases REDUXA A1 Focal Reducer for ARRI ALEXA Classic/XT/SXT

CINELUX has teased the REDUXA A1, an early-prototype focal reducer for the ARRI ALEXA Classic, XT, and SXT. These cameras ship with a fixed PL mount; the A1 would add an interchangeable mount system and approximately one stop of light gain. No release date or pricing confirmed. CINELUX previously attempted a similar reducer for RED DSMC2 cameras (the REDUXA R2) but hit manufacturing difficulties around RED's OLPF; they've shifted focus to the ARRI version, which they describe as more tractable.
