CIPA June 2026: Camera Shipments Down Year-on-Year Across All Categories

CIPA's June 2026 shipment figures are out: 713,059 total units, down from 834,497 in June 2025 and also below May 2026's 751,208. Fixed-lens compacts came in at 203,056 units for June, still up on the same six-month period last year but cooling from May's 219,862. Interchangeable lens cameras fared worse, hitting just 82.4% of June 2025 levels, with full-frame and larger-sensor models continuing a month-on-month slide.
