DJI sued Insta360 on June 10 over the Luna Ultra gimbal camera, claiming it copies patented subject-tracking systems, gimbal modes, and physical design. Insta360 hit back the same week with five countersuits targeting the Osmo Pocket, Ronin/RS, Osmo Mobile, and Osmo 360. DJI is seeking a permanent U.S. sales ban on the Luna Ultra; both sets of cases are before U.S. courts and unresolved.
