The X Half launched at $849 with a lot of eye-rolls attached. That price was almost certainly padded for tariff risk during peak US trade war chaos, not a reflection of what Fujifilm actually wanted to charge. It's now sitting at $550 as a permanent price point. Still a lifestyle camera, not a workhorse. But at this price it's a wrap gift, a second body for street, or a deliberate palette cleanser between commercial jobs. The camera didn't change. The excuse not to buy one just got weaker.
