A twelve-year-old lens with no weather sealing, a noisy AF motor, and no optical stabilisation is still the most-sold prime in Japan by a wide margin. If you're building an X-mount kit and agonising over whether to spend up on the newer XF 35mm f/2, this data settles the argument. The f/1.4 renders in a way that shooters keep coming back to, and the secondhand market confirms it. Worth picking up used before the word gets around any further.
