Casey Cavanaugh is building the GX-P1, a fixed-lens digital camera designed to shoot natively in the 65:24 panoramic ratio associated with the Hasselblad XPan. Per PetaPixel, details come from a newsletter — specs and pricing are unconfirmed and the crowdfund is still months away. Cavanaugh is also planning to publish a video series documenting the full process of building a digital camera independently, working alongside designer Ash Thorp.
