Probe lenses have always been fixed focal length. You pick your shot, you commit. Laowa just dismantled that constraint with two new macro probe zooms, 15-24mm T8 and 15-35mm T12, giving cinematographers and commercial shooters actual flexibility mid-setup without pulling the lens. For anyone doing product work, food, or nature close-up where repositioning is a nightmare, a probe that zooms is a genuine workflow shift, not a spec exercise.
