Magnum Remembers Ian Berry (1934–2026)

Ian Berry, Magnum photographer and one of the few to document the 1960 Sharpeville massacre, has died at 91. A Magnum member for more than five decades, his documentary work across apartheid-era South Africa and international conflict is part of the canon of 20th-century photojournalism.
