Stuart Palley has been photographing California wildfires since 2013, now close to 200 fires deep. His Terra Flamma project shoots fires at night on long exposures, treating the fire itself as the light source. He's used the Fujifilm GFX100 II with the GF 500mm F5.6 and GF 20-35mm F4, and the Nikon Z8 with the 70-200mm F2.8 VR S. DPReview has a full interview.
