Mandler 50mm f/1.4 PRE-ASPH E46 for Leica M: specs and pricing

Mandler is about to release a 50mm f/1.4 for Leica M-mount modelled on Dr. Walter Mandler's original Summilux-M PRE-ASPH E46. Seven elements in five groups, pure spherical double-Gauss design with ED and HRI glass, 12 blades, 46mm filter thread, and a 0.5m minimum focus distance — closer than the original's 0.7m. Black aluminium version weighs 150g and prices at 1,888 RMB (around USD $280); silver copper-and-chrome runs 200g and 2,688 RMB (around USD $400). Both include 6-bit coding and an integrated retractable hood.
