Panasonic filed a patent published July 30, 2026 that includes an alternative optical design for a 125-600mm f/5.6-8.3 L-mount lens, alongside the existing 100-500mm f/5-7.1 OIS. The source, L-Rumors, is sceptical a production version is planned.
