Adobe has shipped a new Light Adjustment Layer in Photoshop, covering brightness, contrast, highlights, shadows, whites and blacks as a non-destructive, maskable layer. It brings controls familiar from Camera Raw into the standard Photoshop workspace. The same update adds a stripped-back editor mode for new users.
