Polaroid Mod Launches with Physical Mode Dial and Four Shooting Modes

Polaroid's Mod is on sale now at $169.99 / £149.99 / €169.99, shooting full-size I-Type film with a physical mode dial on the front that cycles through four modes: Double Exposure, Light Painting, Split Shot (needs a separate accessory), and Motion Freeze, which layers a long exposure with a flash-lit frame for blur-plus-sharp results. It's a tactile fix to a real gripe with instant cameras, where creative modes are usually buried in apps or behind unlabelled buttons. Wider retail outside the US doesn't land until 2027, so Australian photographers are looking at direct order or a wait.
