Split diopters have been a cinema staple since Brian De Palma was abusing them in the 70s, but good luck finding one that fits your mirrorless system without a custom rig. PolarPro just made it accessible. The Split 50 puts a diopter on one half of the frame and leaves the other clear, so you can hold a foreground subject and a background subject in focus at the same time, no compositing, no focus stacking. If you shoot commercial work where a product and a person need to coexist in the same sharp frame, this is worth a serious look.
