Really Right Stuff built its reputation on bomber-grade support gear that costs as much as a decent lens. Their new Core Line, headlined by the Benchmark and Benchmark Inverted, is a deliberate step toward photographers who want RRS engineering without the full flagship tariff. Worth knowing if you're in the market for a serious carbon fibre tripod and have been defaulting to Gitzo or Benro because RRS felt unreachable. Whether the price delta is actually meaningful or just marketing positioning, that's the question the full review will need to answer.
