Sony looks set to drop the a7R VI and a reworked 100-400mm GM around May 13, with a confirmed NYC event on the 14th-15th giving the rumour a concrete anchor. Nothing is official, so don't cancel any orders yet. But if you're shopping for a high-res Sony body or a long telephoto right now, two weeks is worth waiting.
