Sony is rumoured to announce a new FX-series cinema camera on July 22nd, per PhotoRumors. The unconfirmed specs include a 16.6MP full-frame stacked CMOS, triple base ISO at 800/4000/12800, approximately 16 stops of dynamic range, internal 16-bit RAW recording in X-OCN LT format, IBIS, dual card slots (CFexpress Type A + SD), and a 3.5-inch articulating touchscreen. Body-only pricing is reported at over €5,000. The model name is unconfirmed — FX4 and FX5 are both in circulation.
