Sony has announced the FE 100-400mm F5.6-8 OSS (SEL100400), a full-frame E-mount super-telephoto zoom. The variable maximum aperture of F5.6-8 puts it in a more compact and affordable bracket than Sony's existing G Master 100-400mm F4.5-5.6. Preorders are open now at B&H, Adorama, Amazon, Wex UK, and several European retailers; no AUD pricing or local availability confirmed yet.
