Tamron's new 12-20mm F2.8 is a full-frame ultra-wide zoom for Nikon Z and Sony E mounts, with a 17-element optical formula, 12-blade aperture, internal focusing via linear motor, and a rear filter holder in place of a front thread. It's loaded with physical controls: declickable aperture/control ring, zoom lock at 12mm or 20mm, dual orientation function buttons, MF lock switch, and USB-C for firmware and Tamron Link configuration. It's also the first lens under Tamron's new visual design language and simplified naming scheme.
