GFX photographers have been paying Fujifilm prices for GFX glass because there was no alternative. That might be about to change. Chinese third-party makers are eyeing the GFX mount for AF lens development, which is exactly how X-mount got affordable fast primes from Viltrox and TTArtisan. If even one credible maker ships a sharp AF prime for under half the price of a native GFX lens, that changes the cost equation for medium format work significantly. Nothing to buy yet, but worth watching if you're on GFX or considering it.
