The 15mm f/1.7 sits in useful territory: wide enough for architecture and interiors, fast enough for available-light work, and priced where third-party glass actually makes the decision easy. If you're shooting events, real estate, or street on an X-series body and don't want to spend flagship money on a native wide prime, this is the lens to test before you pull the trigger on anything else.
