The Otus name carries real weight. The original Otus 35mm f/1.4 was one of the sharpest DSLR primes ever made, and now Cosina is building the mirrorless version for Z, E, and RF mounts simultaneously. Manual focus only, which means this is squarely aimed at commercial still life, architecture, and portrait shooters who pull focus deliberately, not run-and-gun. The multi-mount release in one go is the practical win here. No waiting for your mount to get the nod. If you've been running adapted Otus glass on a mirrorless body and tolerating the compromises, this is the cleaner option.
