ZY Optics Adds 30mm f/2.4 and 45mm f/1.4 to Medium Format Lineup
GFX shooters already know the pain: native Fujinon glass is excellent and priced accordingly. ZY Optics is building out a credible third-party alternative with this PITTURA series, and a 30mm f/2.4 wide-angle for 4433 format is a gap worth filling. That's roughly 24mm-equivalent field of view on a medium format sensor, useful for architecture, landscape, and environmental portraiture where you want the format's tonal depth without the weight of a tilt-shift setup. The 45mm f/1.4 is the more interesting brief on paper, though specs on that one are thin. At 3380 RMB introductory (roughly AUD $720 at current rates), the 30mm sits well below Fujinon territory. The trade-off is manual focus only and that self-described 'vintage character', which is either a selling point or a dealbreaker depending on your client list. Beijing P&E is May 2026, so this is a 'put it on the radar' item, not a 'update your kit list' moment.
