The Canon R5 came through with no critical failures. The Nikon Z7 II didn't finish testing at all, knocked out by connectivity issues inside the vacuum chamber. And despite having newer mirrorless options on the table, NASA strapped a Nikon D5 to Artemis II because it already had ISS hours logged and high-ISO performance that holds up where it counts. Nikon dropped bug-fix firmware for two DSLRs: D6 gets v1.71, fixing underexposure with D-type lenses and a shutter speed cap at 1/250s during auto FP high-speed sync recall. D780 gets v1.21, fixing underexposure during burst shooting when zoom is adjusted mid-sequence.
