GFX100S II at MotoGP: Medium Format Pushed to Its Limits

The real question here isn't 'can medium format shoot MotoGP' — it's whether the GFX100S II's AF and burst improvements are credible enough to justify using a 100MP system anywhere near fast-moving subjects. Fujifilm Cuts $500 off GFX100 II, GFX100S II and More

Five hundred off a GFX100 II won't change your life, but it's a real number on a serious body. Sony Announces 65mm Medium Format Sensor for Venice 2 Cinema System

Sony has announced the RIALTO 65, a new medium format sensor module for the modular Venice 2 cinema camera. The sensor is 53.7x35.83mm in a 3:2 aspect ratio, physically larger than the medium format sensors in the Fujifilm GFX and Hasselblad X2D lines. This is a development announcement for the Venice 2 cine system, not a stills camera.
