Canon's two flagship bodies are about to get a firmware update, and if you're mid-job-season, that's worth knowing before you hit 'update' without reading the notes first. The R1 in particular is still a relatively young camera with room to grow, so a v1.3.0 drop could mean meaningful feature additions rather than just bug cleanup. Hold tight for the feature list before updating mid-contract, but put it on your radar now.
