Clay Bolt's Mission to Photograph Every Bumblebee Species in the Americas

Clay Bolt has spent a decade working through a full species list of bumblebees across the Americas, photographing each one in the field for a long-term conservation project with WWF. His 2025 Patagonia trip took two weeks of searching to land six queens of Bombus dahlbomii, the world's largest bumblebee, now under pressure from introduced European species.
