Community Mod Unlocks Open-Gate 3K CinemaDNG on SIGMA fp

auto_awesomePixelfetch Take
An unofficial firmware mod for the SIGMA fp, built by developer Vitaly Li, enables open-gate 3K CinemaDNG recording for the first time on the camera. It outputs 3000x2000 at 24fps in 12-bit RAW using the full 3:2 sensor area, recorded to an external SSD. Installation is two files dropped to an SD card root; the code runs alongside stock firmware rather than replacing it. Tested only on Ver.5.02, with known quirks including a potential pink first frame per clip and an 18-minute recording ceiling. Li calls it a work in progress and use is explicitly at your own risk.
