GoPro is in serious financial trouble. Founder and CEO Nicholas Woodman has personally loaned the company $20 million at 6.5% interest as a stopgap while a buyer is sought, with reports suggesting the company may not survive 2026 without a sale or fresh capital. Q1 revenue was down 26% year-on-year, unit sales fell 29% to 313,000, and a 23% global headcount reduction is in progress.
