Metabones TruePDAF Firmware Boosts AF on EF-to-MFT Adapters

Metabones has pushed a firmware update to its EF-to-MFT Speed Booster II and Smart Adapter II that adds on-board profiles for 100-plus Canon EF lenses. The adapter reads the attached lens, sends detailed data to the camera, and a pink LED confirms the profile loaded. Metabones says phase-detection AF and IBIS both benefit, with best results on the Panasonic GH7 and G9 II.
