Panasonic S9 Firmware V2: Skip the App, Use a Computer

Panasonic's firmware V2.0 for the S9 (released June 9) has a known issue: updating via the Lumix Lab app can render the camera unusable. Panasonic has posted an official warning and says to update via memory card using a file downloaded from a computer. The app-based update path should be disabled, but reports on social media confirm it's still going through for some users with bad results. A fix for app-based updating is coming.
