Samyang Announces 28-135mm F2.8 for Sony E-Mount, Due Feb 2027

Samyang has confirmed specs for a 28-135mm F2.8 autofocus zoom for Sony E-mount, with a February 2027 release date. At 854g and up to 190mm long when fully extended, it's a chunky option compared to Tamron's competing zooms, but covers a focal range neither Tamron currently matches. Voice coil motor autofocus, 82mm filter thread, and control ring grips matching Samyang's Schneider-Kreuznach co-developed lenses.
