auto_awesomePixelfetch Take
Andrea Pizzini, the person behind Sony Alpha Rumors, shoots giant single-sheet color positives on Fujifilm Fujiflex using a walk-in tent camera of his own construction. The finished image, up to 127x220cm, is the same physical sheet that captured the light, processed via reversal directly into a color positive and then framed. No negative, no enlargement, no stitching. He uses three Apo-Nikkor lenses: 480mm f/9, 890mm f/11, and 1210mm f/12.5. The CineD Focus Check episode (ep138) covers both the technical build and the personal story behind the project.
