Expired Instant Film Self-Portraits Become a Published Photobook

Cindy Konits stumbled on expired instant film at the back of her studio and turned it into a full photobook project. 'This Room Will Survive Me' (Schilt Publishing, €45, 202pp) collects nude self-portraits shot using available light, with the degraded film stock causing her figure to bleed into backgrounds and surroundings. The book uses partial Japanese binding with fold-out and concealed pages.
