FotoFocus has opened its first permanent exhibition building in Cincinnati: 14,700 square feet of timber and glass designed by José Garcia, with a staircase referencing a camera viewfinder and thresholds echoing Polaroid frames. The inaugural exhibition 'Big Tent', curated by Kevin Moore, pairs monumental prints by Gordon Parks and Robert Frank with work by An-My Lê, Catherine Opie, Alec Soth, and David Benjamin Sherry. The FotoFocus Biennial follows this autumn, with major shows by Trevor Paglen, Paul Mpagi Sepuya, and Nancy Rexroth.
