Princeton University Art Museum is showing Photography as a Way of Life, a survey exhibition pairing prints, slides, and archival publications from Minor White, Aaron Siskind, and Harry Callahan. Curator Brendan Fay draws on the museum's own holdings to map how the three photographers moved from camera-club and documentary work to founding the first university photography programs in the US, and how their shared aesthetic and frequent collaboration shaped the medium as a discipline.
