Sony Rialto 65 Cinema Sensor: 9.6K, $80K, No Mount Included

Sony has confirmed full specs and pricing for the Rialto 65: a 53.75 x 35.83mm sensor module that mounts to the Venice 2, priced at $80,000 without a body or lens mount. It shoots 9.6K open gate at up to 30p in Raw X-OCN XT, with higher frame rates available in other formats. Additional modes, including 4.3K at 100p from an APS-C crop, arrive later via software update. The sensor block can be used attached to the camera or extended up to 4.5m on a cable.
