Henry Wessel Retrospective Opens at The Grolier Club, NYC

More than 65 prints from Henry Wessel (1942-2018) are now on show at The Grolier Club in New York, covering all four of his major series: Incidents, Traffic, Real Estate, and Night Walks. Wessel's Traffic work is particularly instructive — he shot straight from the driver's seat after discovering that stopping the car and getting out killed what he originally saw. The exhibition also includes his books.
